A couple of new scarflettes are on the way

I just have to get some buttons on them and some pictures taken and I will be posting them this week. I am using my loom right now to weave a scarf for my grandmother, but soon after I will be working on some new woven scarflettes as well as some longer knitted scarves. I just posted this sterling silver necklace too:
It is a very simple design, but the dark charcoal color of the oxidized sterling silver makes the beads stand out. I would like to do this same style necklace in a variety of colors. Maybe some earrings or a bracelet too. As always...just need some time to get it done!

In the mood for food...the real kind!

So after featuring some tantalizing teasers from Frosted Fakes, I wanted to feature some "real" food that you can buy and enjoy, not that you can't enjoy a fake box of chocolates, but you know what I mean. Something you can not only look at, but sink your teeth into. Here are some of my favorites--some I have tried and others I am on the verve of hitting "Submit Order."

First lets start with these "oh-my!-I-can't stop-eating-them-they-are-so-good" sweet and spicy pecans from Cocktail Party.

These are so UNBELIEVABLY delicious---they really are "love at first bite." You can't just eat one. Really. At first you get the crunch and the sweet, and then the spice kicks in and your tastebuds start dancing around and then you reach for another and the magic happens all over. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! And if you really aren't in the mood for spice, there is a new "Sweet and Salty" that I have yet to try. Mmmmmmmmmmmm...can't wait to get my hands on those!

And now for something I haven't tried and I am wondering if anyone has. They are these scrumptious looking caramels from Caramel Jubilee. They come in a variety of flavors like Vanilla, Chocolate, Licorice, Pomegranate and even Pumpkin! I am so ready to try these out, but I am afraid of addiction because I love caramels!

And now for some C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E!
Oh yes...choooooooooocolate! What girls doesn't need a chocolate fix every now and then? Well, for me it's more 'now' than 'then.'

I have had my eye on these for a while. These look so incredible and I am sure they taste just as good as they look. They are Minty French Stars from Carnival. If anyone has tried these, please share (literally would be great!). I may have to just take the plunge myself. The shop also features another favorite of mine: POPCORN! And not just any popcorn, but Cinnamon Bliss, Cherry Yogurt, and a chocolate, coffee, graham cracker flavor called Rocket Fuel.

So please share if you have tried any of these sweets. I am sure they would all make great gifts too---if you can stop yourself from stealing a bite...or two...or three!

Too good to be true

It's is so cold outside right now. It's feels like the middle of January but it's only November. Brrrrrrrr! So how about a nice steaming cup of hot chocolate:

But before you take a sip, look closely because it's fake! Yup, it's not the real thing. I can't believe how real this looks. It is from a shop called Frosted Fakes and it features tons of goodies that are just too good eat. Here are a few other teasers:

Okay, now it's off to have some hot chocolate, but it's not going to look half as good. At least I can drink it though!

Happy Friday!

I absolutely looooooove this necklace. It is from HelenesDreams and I found it by checking out The Giveaway blog. The stones in this necklace look like tiny chunks of ice. It's called "Oregon Winter." Just beautiful! I think I am going to add this to my Christmas wish list. I need to get one started soon!

Here is another gorgeous piece from her shop called "Winter FlowerGirl:"

I have two new scarflettes that I just finished that are waiting for buttons. One is 100% wool (the orange one) and the other is 100% alpaca---so incredibly soft!

What do you think of the shawl stick? I would love to offer the shawl sticks in place of buttons, but I am having a hard time finding one like this.
